Swastik Nigam brings over 16 years of experience in global finance, specializing in multi-asset trading, structured products, and fintech innovation.
He has established networks with institutional investors, banks, corporates, governments and regulatory bodies across Europe and Asia.
Prior to founding Winvesta (a fintech platform enabling cross-border payments and investments), Swastik served as Director at Deutsche Bank, London, where he ran the delta-one flow fund-derivatives trading desk. He structured collateralized hedge fund financing facilities and was instrumental in radically reducing Deutsche Bank’s risk-weighted assets and optimising balance sheet.
Earlier, he executed proprietary index strategies replicating CTA performance and advised Deutsche AWM’s global fund-seeding program. He also ran secondaries portfolio and the fund-linked notes trading portfolio for DB.
His career began with engineering roles at Larsen & Toubro and Procter & Gamble before transitioning to finance after his MBA.
Swastik holds an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and a B.Chem. Eng. from Mumbai’s Institute of Chemical Technology, complemented by a Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF).
His leadership includes having chaired IIM-A Alumni UK, on philanthropic initiatives, while advocating for diversity as Deutsche Bank’s representative at the UK House of Lords.
